CHOOSE YOUR CLIMB

INDIVIDUAL

This is the front of the pack. The steepest line up the mountain.

You don’t hesitate—you attack. High-skill gymnastics show up under fatigue, heavy barbells don’t slow you down, and you can separate when it matters.

You belong here if:

  • Clean & jerk 275+/185+ under fatigue
  • Snatch 205+/145+ consistently
  • Can perform ring muscle-ups in sets under fatigue
  • Can perform strict HSPU in sets under fatigue
  • Can cover 25+ ft of handstand walking under fatigue
  • Expect to compete at the top, not just qualify

This is where strong, well-rounded athletes go to compete.

You’ve built the engine and the skill set. You can handle most things that show up, the question is how well you hold it together when it gets uncomfortable?

You belong here if:

  • Clean & jerk 225+/155+
  • Snatch 165+/115+
  • Are close to or can do ring muscle-ups in super small sets or singles, but can perform bar muscle-ups in sets under fatigue
  • Can complete 10+ ft handstand walks under fatigue
  • Can do HSPU in sets, or strict HSPU in small sets/singles
  • Rarely get completely stuck on a movement

This is the climb where athletes level up.

You’ve got a strong base and you train consistently, but higher skill and heavier loads still create separation. This lane is about building confidence and closing those gaps.

You belong here if:

  • Clean & jerk 155–205 / 105–135
  • Snatch 115–155 / 75–105
  • Can perform pull-ups, chest-to-bar, and toes-to-bar
  • May have bar muscle-ups as singles (or not yet consistent)
  • Can perform HSPU in small sets or singles and handstand walks for at least 5’ unbroken distances
  • Need to manage fatigue and break work often

Same mountain. Smarter climb.

This lane is built for experienced athletes who can still perform at a high level, but do it with control, pacing, and intention.

You belong here if:

  • You meet RX-level skill expectations
  • You can still handle moderate to heavy barbell loads for your age group
  • You want to compete within your age group
  • You rely on efficiency, pacing, and smart execution

For 50+, expect slightly lighter loading and skills in smaller sets/distances or variations.

SAME SEX TEAMS OF 3

This is where teams move as one.

Fast transitions. Shared workload. No weak links.

Your team belongs here if:

  • All three athletes can hit RX-level weights and skills
  • You can cycle barbells and perform gymnastics without major breakdowns
  • No athlete is a clear limitation in any domain
  • You’re comfortable with synchro work and worm-style loading

This is where teamwork matters most.

You’re building together. Strategy and communication will separate teams here.

Your team belongs here if:

  • Strength or skill varies across teammates
  • At least one athlete can handle higher-skill movements or heavier loads
  • You’ll rely on strategy to manage workouts
  • You’re comfortable with some synchro and shared loading

Experience shows up here.

Clean movement, smart pacing, and strong communication win.

Your team belongs here if:

  • You want to compete within your age group
  • You can still perform at or near the RX level across domains, with a focus on efficiency and consistency
  • You’re comfortable with synchro and team-based loading

TEAMS OF 2

This is a true partnership climb.

There’s no hiding. Both athletes have to deliver.

You belong here if:

  • Both athletes can clean & jerk 185+/125+
  • Both athletes can perform RX level gymnastics movements
  • Work can be split evenly, no one is carrying
  • You’re comfortable with synchro-style work

This is where you build together.

You’ve got a base, but there are still gaps and that’s okay.

You belong here if:

  • One or both athletes fall below RX benchmarks
  • You can perform most movements, but not at high intensity or volume
  • You’ll need to break work and manage fatigue
  • At least one athlete can handle higher-skill or heavier elements

A smarter, more controlled climb.

You belong here if:

  • You want to compete within your age group at an RX level
  • You rely on execution, pacing, and communication
  • Both athletes can contribute across all domains

This is where the climb begins.

No pressure. No expectation of advanced skills. Just a chance to compete, challenge yourself, and be part of the event.

You belong here if:

  • Clean & jerk is at or near 135/95
  • Snatch is at or near 95/65
  • Pull-ups, toes-to-bar, or higher-skill gymnastics are still developing
  • You want a competitive experience without advanced requirements

You may be pushed with new skills—but nothing will block your workout or prevent you from having a great experience.

No synchro. No pressure. Just show up and go.
